This is an interesting little family owned Italian restaurant/pizza shop. Their pizza has a sweet sauce. And when they say sweet, they mean SWEET! The crust is thin and is also a little sweet. Their plain cheese pizza ends up being very sweet. As other reviews have noted, they are a little stingy on the toppings. If you want pepperoni, you better order double. The pierogi specialty pizza does not have the red sauce and is excellent.

Love this place. We always get the pierogi pizza, weekend family special with blue cheese. Cannot be beaten!! Traveling from the city about an hour each way, so I always stop when working in the area.

Great pizza. Pizza is a sweet dough pizza very good. The restaurant itself need a lot of work. Very dated. I think every table there is uneven and rocky. I think next time order take out and skip the seating area.

I used to love Jiois in Irwin until it closed/sold do to the owner not paying her taxes. I stopped on my way to church last night and thought I would be in for a treat. I was told to sit anywhere. I sat for about five minutes before a young man around the age of 14 walked up to my table and stared at me. I did not speak because whoever trained him should have instructed him on how to treat a customer. The salad which was sinfully priced was brown lettuce. I had to ask for a napkin. When the pizza came out 20 minutes later it was no better. Needless to say I would never go back.

Ordered the meatball hoagie and was extremely disappointed. The meatballs have a very processed texture and taste. Was working in the area and figured I'd get their meatball hoagie which I think is the best, but this location is nowhere near the same quality as the Greensburg location. Also their fries are not very good, mine were very soggy and looked like a limp noodle almost like they were half cooked. If anyone doesn't like the quality of food, try the Greensburg location. I can assure you, it's a whole different food experience. The food seems homemade and is fantastic. Will not be returning to Latrobe for Jioios.

Have you found yourself in the beautiful quaint town of latrobe? Are you desiring a good meal? Look no further, Jioio's is a family ran Italian restaurant severing up all kinds of delicious dishes. Pictured here is a pierogi pizza, something which not many restaurants offer. The food was great and the servers were very nice.

It was not busy (there were 3 tables occupied). It took a while to seat us. Even longer to wait on us. The room was really cold. When a customer complained there was no action. They left. The pizza was great. Next time we'll get it to go.
